The school around the corner
I had one of those moments this morning where you see yourself from the outside, like you're watching yourself in a movie.
Here's what I saw:
A grown man, thirty-ish, walking down the street with one of those stainless steel commuter cups of coffee in one hand and half a cantaloupe in a Ziploc® bag in the other. His son is hanging off the strap of his Timbuk2 messenger bag, and he (the son) is saying "Okay, I'm holding on. You be the tug boat and pull me across the street!"
I had to smile. We're gonna like walking to school just fine.
